GDI 2025
Where the series began.
The inaugural International Conference of Green + Digital + Intelligent Built Environments was hosted by Auckland University of Technology from 1 to 3 December 2025, in partnership with Beca and ten professional and academic bodies across New Zealand and internationally.
The conference received more than 200 peer-reviewed, camera-ready papers across 17 scientific streams. It opened at Beca House on the evening of 1 December with a panel on global alliances, then moved to AUT City Campus for two days of keynotes, parallel tracks, recorded paper sessions, workshops, exhibitions and laboratory tours, closing with a gala dinner and the first GDI Awards.
