Host a Future GDI
GDI moves between cities and institutions. Universities and professional bodies are invited to propose hosting an edition from 2028 onwards.
What a Host Provides
- A local organising team and a named local chair
- An accessible venue for two to three days, with plenary and parallel rooms
- Links with local industry, professional bodies and government
- Support for students and early career researchers
- A contingency plan for online or hybrid delivery
What a Proposal Includes
- Proposed dates, city and venue, with access and travel information
- The organising team and its experience
- Accommodation options across price ranges
- An indicative budget with fee levels and a sponsorship plan
- Letters of support from the host institution
